No – we do not recommend the MSU2 for very small animals. Its low-frequency probe prioritizes penetration over image quality. Smaller animals require a higher frequency probe for better image quality. Consider the Elite 5600 with microconvex probe for this purpose.

Can I buy this machine and get a different probe for it?

No. Probes are not interchangeable between makes and models, and the Kaixin MSU2 only works with the mechanical sector abdominal probe it comes with.
